The Test

Have you ever wonder why does God allow us to face all the trials in life? Well, we tend to believe that trials are always part of satan’s malevolent plans in order to make us fall or to provoke us to walk astray from God. Yet, this is not true all the time, maybe I shud say most of the time. In fact, most of the trials are from God instead. Why? Why does He wanna put us in trials? Doesn’t that hurt Him too when we’re broken and crippled by all the despair and anguish in life?

Kay, let’s just put things in simple terms. Christianity is not a religion. In fact, it’s a living relationship between us and God. And trials and tests are only part of God’s plans in our life to mould us so that we could grow in faith and spiritually and hence accomplish His great plan on earth. There’re 3 major tests that God wanna put us in so that we could be mould and accomplish our mission on earth.

(1) The test of TIME
Have you ever been in this situation where God has given you a promise for your future, yet His promise just seems so impossible to occur and you’ve been waiting for such a long time that you just wanna give up? Yes, this is the test of time that God has put us in so that we could walk with Him and grow spiritually. It is through the test of time that we could grow in faith. And y’know, God’s time is always slow… We’re not God and we’re unable to see the great plans He has for us in the future. And pathetically, we as human beings tend to doubt God easily and even try to run away from Him.
Dear bro and sis, dun ever give up so easily. Keep on praying, hoping and believing. God will give us the best of His promise in His time (though we all know that it’s always slow), but not in our time.
We hold on and live by the promise of God. However, there’re times when we’re just too focus on the promise that God has for us and neglect the walk with God, the journey to the promise instead. This is just so wrong. It is not the promise that matter, cuz God has never failed any promise that He has for us. The ‘thing’ that matter most is in fact is our walk with God. Focus on the process instead of the result. Cuz God has already taken care of our promise. All He wants is us as His children to seek Him and depend on His guidance.

(2) the test of MIZUNDERSTOOD
Well, I’m sure many of us have been through times when the whole world misunderstand us and reject us though we do nothing wrong. People around us just wanna piss us off for no reason. And at this very moment, we just feel so despondent, unwanted and rejected by people around us. But hey, let’s not let this bring us down. Sometimes this is in fact the test of MIZUNDERSTOOD that God has put us in so that we could learn the lesson of forgiving(I know this is really hard to love someone who tries to bring us down in the past, but we just have to learn to love them) as well as to mould us to be more like Him.
And remember, God will never forsake us even though the whole world may turn against us. He is always faithful and He is by our side all the time. And it is through this time of difficulties that we get closer to God.

(3) the test of WILDERNESS
It is true that we’re all here on earth for a mission for God. Yet accomplishing this mission can never be easy. God put us in the test of wilderness to mould us, to strengthen our faith and to help us to find as well as to accomplish our life’s mission on earth. Sometimes, we just feel so breathless, restless and faithless due to all the pressures that we’re currently facing in work, family, relationship and others. Everything seems like going wrong and we just feel like we wanna give up. But wait, this is just the test of wilderness that God has put us through. It is through this test that we gonna get closer to Him, know Him better and have a deeper relationship with Him. and He will show us the way and lead us in our life.
Dear bro and sis, things in life may seem to be falling apart. And at times, we may just feel so crippled, pressured by the burden that we have. But dun ever give up and just continue to pray, to seek, to hope, to believe. Cuz God has long taken care of our situation.

it is through trials that we grow in faith and in our spiritual life. i believe that many of us may have been scarred and hurt by our past. we may feel so breathless and weary bcuz of our busy schedule in life and the pile up problems. but hey, let's us just continue to 'live with hope, walk by faith and love by choice' (wilson's msn nick)...
