KMYF: Words of Encouragement

Dear Committees/Pastors/CG Leaders/Ex-Committees:

We are thankful that first time 5 CG leaders joined us in the meeting and gave us a lot of supports, especially Anna who will lead 1 Scratch Contest which will link to our 16 Dec Chirstmas Evangelism Nite. And thank you Anson(JingAn) who sent me an impressive poster for 6th Sept: "Steamboat Nite"... it's really encouraging & show us your commitment & "Hot" heart.. haha thanx buddy~!

We've made a difficult decision on our Christmas Youth Evangelism date, we must give way to church event which had been confirmed with the speaker, although we had set the date in early of this year. So, we decide to bring it forward to 16 Dec 2006, which is same day of YingQing's Wedding. We hope we still can join her Wedding Ceremony in the afternoon, but can't attend her wedding dinner. Hope you all understand.

Why not 25th of Dec? 1stly, we want to join church evangelism nite & caroling on 23rd and 24th, secondly we have 25th Chirstmas Service, so if we put it on 25th nite, it would be exhausting for us to involve all events or not attend at all.

We change our approach of leading MYF nite program, which previously only incharged by 1 person solely. We would now encourage all committee members to assist or be partner in any program if possible. This is our commitment and efforts to link us closer and be able to sustain our “energy” not to be “totally exhausted” without any support whenever to hold a program. Do you agree?

We don’t blame people; we do need to bless others, especially our committees, cg leaders & core members. In MYF which is totally different with MIF where we have no burdens on career, studies, family, marriage and problems on daily living, now we need to cater all areas that need lots of commitments and responsibilities. Furthermore, we face challenges and spiritual “tribulation” like what Xilas faces now, Keat’s & Mei Jun exam pressures, Fenglian study at nites and etc.

We believe our Lord is well worthy to be served, that’s why we serve youths for this reasons.

We don’t serve only we’re 100% free & available, God wants our heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience for people He loves...

In our weakness, God provides His strengths for us… it’s not how great our efforts but how we love Him.

Till the end of days as we’re His children, as we’re Christ’s Followers…
We live for serving Him….
